Panteli Leros

The island of Leros is a paradise blessed with magnificent scenery and beautiful beaches. The island is connected to Athens and several islands of the Cyclades and the Dodecanese islands with boats, hydrofoils, catamarans and daily flights from Athens.
The island has an area of 53 square kilometers and the coastline is over 71 sq km with excellent roads to get to know it by car or motorbike.
Leros is flat, with small green hills and green valleys reaching to the beaches and low mountains with pines, oaks and a rich variety of flowers. The beautiful scenery of the nature of Leros complement picturesque bays and inlets forming small exotic beaches and picturesque villages with traditional houses and historical monuments.
Leros in recent years has become a popular tourist destination. Each time the visitor wants to come back because Leros is an ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday.

Panteli is the most picturesque village of the island. A unique traditional fishing village with a well organized beach, taverns, bars, cafes and a marina for yachts. The locals unaffected from tourism are mostly fishermen working the traditional occupation of fishing with boats and trawlers. Over Panteli is the imposing Byzantine castle of Virgin Mary and the Windmills. The island's capital Platanos and Agia Marina are only a ten minute walk.
